Kelsey Rose Kilcrease (@kelskilla) has always felt a deep connection to art, inspired by her cousin and best friend, also an artist. After moving to Austin, she discovered her passion for painting animals in 2018 while teaching pet painting classes. This creative outlet, along with the encouragement of friends, helped her find a sense of community. While balancing her work as a project manager, Kelsey began freelancing, focusing on pet portraits, a passion she has pursued for over four years.
Feeling homesick, Kelsey started creating art that represented El Paso, leading her to a partnership with Chuco Relic. For Kelsey, art is essential to her life, and she is always driven to create something meaningful.
