“The most challenging thing in photography is photoshopping, I don't do it. Ha! I take pictures and leave the photos unedited to reveal a more authentic image. I have always liked taking photos, as a teenager I used to make my friends be my super models for photoshoots. They would dress up, do their hair to have photo shoots with me, it was so much fun. When I created my Facebook profile, I would post photos I would take, and people would comment on how cool they were, and they were even willing to buy them. So, then my friends encouraged me to get a professional camera and I started shooting architectural photos, especially our beautiful Henry Trost structures downtown. I like being able to capture the beauty of things in a photo especially vintage subjects with a lot of history. Photos with history also sometimes capture a story that needs to be told. Which is why my passion is to photograph Trost buildings so I can post them along with their history. El Paso is an Amazing City where we are so fortunate to have a vast amount of Trost buildings and the stories attached to them. I want people to see all that beauty and take that knowledge with them. I think you must enjoy capturing life in photography and have a passion for it.”
