🏠 "The hardest thing I ever had to do is start living all by myself here while I missed my family so much. No matter how far I go, I always long for their comforting hugs and the taste of hometown.
🌏 I come from the southern part of China. My connection with my supervisor gave me the opportunity to come to the USA for graduate studies. I had heard of the multi-culture environment that El Paso presents, so I applied for the PH.D program at UTEP.
☀️ I arrived at the hottest time of the year in El Paso, the sun and the dryness really gave me a hard time during the day. But it becomes more than lovely when the sun has set and the breeze comes.
🌮 I immediately fell in love with the Mexican food here. I now can’t finish my meals without salsa! I enjoy exploring the city riding a bike with my boyfriend. He would always bring his camera and I'd become his model. Although I am often awkwardly shy under a camera, with the right person at the right place, everything is just peacefully beautiful."
